20 Ways to Save at Bed Bath and Beyond

Bed Bath & Beyond has all your household favorites and so much more. Don’t ever pay regular price when you shop there, though, there are many ways to save.

You’ve likely received the iconic blue and white 20% coupon in the email that everyone knows and loves (they don’t expire after all), but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when saving at Bed Bath & Beyond!

Check out these 20 ways to save at your favorite household goods store.

1. Never shop without a coupon

We mentioned the illustrious 20% off coupon before and we’ll say it again. Start all your Bed Bath & Beyond shopping with the 20% off store coupon. If you aren’t signed up yet (or your spouse, sister, or BFF isn’t) use these methods:

The best news is that paper coupons NEVER expire. Use them last as any email or text coupons will expire – get those savings first and save your paper coupons for the times you have nothing else.

Don’t ever throw out those coupons either. Keep a few stashed in your glove box and your purse. You never know when you’ll run into the store and wish you had your coupons with you.

You could even hit up your friends and family for the coupons. Don’t let anyone throw them out! If you know someone that doesn’t shop there, ask them to keep the coupons for you.

2. Combine coupons with sales

Bed Bath & Beyond allows you to use coupons on sale items. Strategize your purchases so that you save the most money. For example, if you have a 20% off coupon and a $5 off $15 coupon and are only spending $15, you’ll save more using the $5 off $15 coupon. The 20% off coupons are best saved for items priced $25 or more.

3. Sign up for college emails

Sign up with your college email and immediately get a 20% off a single item coupon within 24 hours. You’ll also receive future coupons and deals sent to your email.

4. Sign up for Shop your Move coupons

Moving? Sign up for the Shop your Move emails and you’ll instantly receive a coupon for 20% off plus offers for future savings.

5. Shop Bed Bath & Beyond’s online Clearance and Savings

Shop the Sales and Clearance section online for some of the hottest deals. You can combine coupons with the sales and clearance for even more savings.

6. Shop in-store clearance and sales

If you’re near a Bed Bath & Beyond store, check out their clearance sections. They’re clearly marked with bright yellow signs which signal the products are the lowest price they’ll get and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Bed Bath & Beyond also holds clearance events twice a year, in January and September. You’ll see the greatest savings in store, but if you don’t have a local Bed Bath & Beyond, check out the savings online (they usually max out at 50% savings online.)

7. Use manufacturer’s coupons

If you have manufacturer’s coupons from the Sunday paper or an online coupon site, you can apply them to your Bed Bath & Beyond purchases. You can use manufacturer’s coupons in addition to your other Bed Bath & Beyond coupons. This works best on makeup and skincare products.

8. Ask for a price match

While Bed Bath & Beyond claims to have the lowest prices in the industry, once in a while you can catch a lower price. If you do and you can prove it with the competitor’s ad and it’s for the identical make and model, Bed Bath & Beyond will price match it. They will price match offers from direct competitors (retailers) and Amazon, just not any items sold in the Amazon marketplace by third parties.

If you’re shopping online and want to price match, call 1-800-GO-BEYOND and talk to a customer service rep.

If you have a previous purchase with a price match (the price dropped within 14 days), email [email protected] and include a copy of the receipt and the competitor’s ad.

Keep in mind you can price match OR use a store coupon, not both (in most cases). But you can use a manufacturer’s coupon with a price match.

9. Become a member of Beyond+ and save

Pay $29/year to be a Beyond+ member and you’ll earn a $29 Bonus Card instantly, which covers the cost of your membership. Throughout the year, you’ll earn free shipping, 20% off your purchase every time you shop in-store or online, and 50% off design services by Decorist.

10. Sign up for My Funds

Shop Bed Bath & Beyond online during its My Funds promotions where you earn funds for your purchases that you can redeem on future online or in-store purchases. You need a Bed Bath & Beyond account to access your funds.

11. Bring your coupon back if you forgot it to get a credit

If you left your coupon on your kitchen table and you don’t have the app or an online version, bring it back with your receipt and ask for an adjustment. This is on a store-by-store basis. You may also request an adjustment for an online purchase by calling Bed Bath & Beyond customer service at 1-800-GO-BEYOND.

12. Use multiple coupons (one for each item)

This doesn’t work in every store, so check with your store manager before you try but you may use one coupon for every item. Some stores limit you to 5 items, others let you use a coupon for every item. Yet others make you do multiple transactions to use a coupon for each item.

13. Look for rebates

If you shop in-store, look for orange signs that signify a rebate. You’ll see the sign with the price minus the rebate offer. Complete the online form to get your rebate, but make sure you pay close attention to the dates as they run for a limited time.

14. Download the Bed Bath & Beyond app

Download the Bed Bath & Beyond app for even more offers. As you shop, you’ll see offers pop up in the ‘My Offers’ section. Check your app before you check out. If you have dollar off coupons in addition to your 20% off one item coupon, you may be able to stack them for an even better deal.

15. Register for your wedding at Bed Bath & Beyond

Start your registry at Bed Bath & Beyond and include brands from their ‘Freebook’ catalog. For every item your friends and families buy you from the book, you can earn free gifts. Just send in a claim form for each item and earn free gifts!

16. Get free shipping

Spend more than $39 online at Bed Bath & Beyond and get free shipping. You can also get free shipping if an item you want in-store is out of stock. Just ask at customer service for free shipping.

If you’re near a store (and made your purchase in-store), head back to the store’s customer service department. If you made the purchase online, call 1-800-GO-BEYOND.

18. Get free gift cards

Bed Bath & Beyond offers free giftcard with purchase offers frequently. If you’re shopping in store, look for the orange signs signifying the free offer, such as ‘Receive a free $50 Bed Bath & Beyond gift card with purchase.). You can also search the offers online.

19. Follow Bed Bath & Beyond on social media

Bed Bath & Beyond is on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Follow them on your favorite social media platform and watch for exclusive deals, contents, and giveaways.
