1. Take Advantage of Walmart Plus
Save time AND money when you take advantage of Walmart Plus. For only $12.95 per month or $98 per year, this service offers so many options to save you time and money.
FREE delivery from your store? Yes! With a $35 order minimum, you’ll get everything you need on the same day. It’s like going to Walmart yourself…except not! And you’ll save time AND money with the delivery service – when compared against non-member delivery fees, you can save an estimated $816 per year.
There’s a time-saving advantage as well – you can save as much as 2.5 hours per week using this service, giving you back some precious free time.
You’ll also receive a generous fuel discount. Save five cents per gallon when you purchase gas at Walmart, Sam’s, and Murphy gas stations. You can save an estimated $84 per year!
With Walmart Plus, you can also take advantage of free shipping with no order minimum from Walmart.com. Choose from a large assortment of eligible items, and watch it appear on your doorstep within 1-2 days.
Mobile Scan and Go is yet another feature – this is a time-saving option that will let you scan the items (using your phone) you’re purchasing as you shop. Then breeze through the checkout and be on your way! This is a great option for those looking for a contactless experience and less time at the checkout.

2. Take Advantage of $4 Pharmacy Medication

Their site makes it easy. You’ll find a list of different diagnoses. Select your specific diagnosis group and view several medication options available at your fingertips!
A mere four dollars will get you a 30-day supply, and you can get a 90-day supply for only ten dollars. The best part? No insurance necessary!
3. Use the money-saving Ibotta app
If you haven’t used the Ibotta app, download it now and start saving!
Here’s how it works:
Download the app and select “Walmart” as your retailer.
A variety of items with savings offers will appear below. Across the top there are several headings: For you, what’s hot, and best value are the first ones. As you scroll through the headings, you can see different departments to choose from, such as Produce and Beauty and personal care.
Look at the offers by category or go through all of them at once, selecting the items you want to purchase.
Then, go shopping! After you pay at Walmart, simply scan your receipt in the app. Ibotta will collect your savings for you and set them aside. Once you reach $20, you can withdraw!
It’s such an easy and fun way to save money, and the savings build up fast. Ibotta also provides several different redemption options: you can use PayPal, link to your bank account, or even redeem for digital gift cards!

4. Use printable coupons
Walmart has a variety of store-specific coupons on their website that you can print off and use at your store! This is yet another easy way to grab some savings.
It’s really easy to access. Once you’re signed into your account on your desktop:

- Hover your mouse over “Local Store.” Another list will pop out, from where you can click on “Local Store” (again).
- This will take you to a page listing information about your specific store. One of the headings reads “Coupons.” Click there.
- Boom! Review the extensive list of store-specific coupons and select the ones you want to use at your store.
After you’ve selected all of your savings, click “Print Coupons.” If you’re a first-time user, you’ll have to enter in your mobile phone number for verification. You’ll receive a code to enter in, and you’re all set!
5. Amp up your Savings with Rollbacks
Even though Walmart already delivers low prices, they’ve been known to go the extra mile for their shoppers by providing an additional discount on various items. By “rolling back” their already-low prices, customers can find themselves with an even better deal!
You’ll see them called out in stores as you shop – or you can just head straight to your app or desktop!
From your phone: Choose the .com option, and there’s a button you can click that will show you all of the rollbacks available. Look at all of them at once or browse by department. Happy Savings!

This one seems obvious but it’s so easy to overlook. Walmart’s already-low prices go even lower when an item goes on clearance. This is a great way to score quality decorations for next year’s holiday, items you’ve had your eye on for a while, or just stock up on something cheaply!

There are so many credit cards on the market offering cash back on purchases.
However, when you take advantage of the Capitol One Walmart Rewards Card, you can get special savings when you purchase from them:
- 5% cash back on walmart.com purchases (this includes pickup and delivery!)
- 2% cash back in Walmart stores and gas stations. Also, 2% cash back when you dine at restaurants and travel.
- Even if you don’t use it at Walmart, they’ll still give you 1% cash back anywhere else where Mastercard is accepted.
