How can I redeem my Lyft promo or coupon code?
If you are using the mobile app, you can open the Lyft app and tap on the menu icon in the top left corner. You will see the ‘Promos’ option. Tap on it. Once you have tapped on it, you will see ‘Enter promo code’. Tap on it to add your code. Then click ‘Apply’ to finish. Check the spelling before entering the promo code to avoid errors.
If you are using the website on a desktop or mobile browser, you can log in to your lift account and click on your profile with your name on the top right corner. A tab will appear on the left. You can see options like ‘Get a Ride’, ‘Ride history’, ‘Payment’, ‘Promos’ and so on. Click ‘Promos’. Once you have clicked, you will land on a page where you will get the ‘Enter promo code’ option with a ‘Promo code’ box under it. Enter your code in the box and click ‘Submit’.
Why is the Lyft promo code not working?
- Expired – Codes expire after a time. The date and time of expiry are mentioned in the ‘Promos’ tab.
- Limited to a location – Certain codes can be applied only in specific areas or for specific rides.
- Currency – Promo currency should match the currency where the ride is being taken.
- Business Ride – Promo codes will not apply to Business Profile, because travel expenses are generally reimbursed by the employer.
- Wrong entry – If you have entered wrongly and there is a typing mistake with spaces and letter case, the promo code will not be applied successfully.
