Megabus Reservation Policy
Megabus makes booking reservations easy with its journey planner.
Go to the journey planner and from the drop-down menu select your departure and arrival city.
Select either one-way or round trip and enter your travel dates. You can book reservations at least 45 days prior to the departure date.
Now, enter the number of passengers you want to make reservations for. Reservations must be made for all passengers regardless of age. All passengers traveling under the same reservation number must board the bus together.
Any passenger with disabilities or traveling with special requirements should select YES on "assisted travel".
From the schedule, select your preferred travel times. Click on the trip/bus stop links to access more information about the bus stops and your trip.
Choose your seats from the available options for your trip and click ‘Continue’.
Make sure to review your reservation and remove any trips or seats added by mistake before checking out to avoid making unwanted payments.
Before continuing, go through and agree to the terms and conditions.
Reservation Fees and Travel Fares
One-way Megabus fares start from $1 but the availability of $1 tickets may be limited. Fares vary as per the demand of seats and date and time of travel.
Megabus charges a $2.50 reservation fee for all reservations. A reservation fee of $7 applies for reservations made over the phone.
Click ‘Pay’ to check out using WorldPay, a secure online payment processor.
Once your reservation has been finished, you will receive a confirmation email from WorldPay confirming your reservation and the acceptance of your payment.
Ensure that the reservation confirmation email sent to you is accurate. To board a Megabus, you must take your reservation number with you.
