How can I redeem an Uber promo code?
Once you have tapped on it, tap on ‘Add Promo/Gift Code’. Enter your code and tap on ‘Add’. Check the spelling while entering the promo code to avoid errors.
If you are using the website on a desktop or mobile browser, you can log in to your Uber account and click on your profile with your name on the top right corner. A tab will appear on the left. Click the ‘Promos’ option and you will land on a page where you will get the ‘Promotions’ option with a ‘Promo Code’ box under it. Enter your code in the box and click ‘Apply’.
Why is the Uber promo code not working?
- Check whether the code has already expired. The date and time of expiry are mentioned in the ‘Promotions’ tab in the ‘Payment’ section.
- The code might be limited to a location. Certain codes can be applied only in specific areas or for specific rides.
- Check if the promo currency matches the actual location’s currency. Promo currency must match the currency where the ride is being booked.
- Check whether you entered the promo code correctly without any spaces or sentence case errors.
